Kneeling for the National Anthem of the USA

Appropriate Responses:

Pastor Jerry Vines was the Co-pastor of Jacksonville First Baptist Church when he testified of an occasion when he and his wife were invited to the White House for dinner when Bill Clinton was president. In honor of the office of the presidency, Brother Vines and his wife stood when Bill Clinton was announced and entered the room. In protest of Bill’s relationship with Monica they did not clap. Appropriate Response.

I propose a like-minded response to those who refuse to stand for the National Anthem of the USA. Just as a person protests a speaker by turning his back to him whenever they speak, I propose the fans turn their back to Brandon Marshall, Colin Kaepernick and the others who will join the bandwagon, whenever they are performing.

You don’t have to agree with everything going on in America to show honor and respect to its citizens. It is a general statement of allegiance and not a specific act within America to stand with dignity during the national anthem. Any one of us can find some atrocities within America. In spite of them I respect and honor the fighting men and women of our armed forces both past, present, and future.

Untill Next Time,
