What Hell has that We should have

The following is the message shared Sunday night 3/30/14

The Two Figures
1. Rich Man: clothed in purple, signifies royalty and wealth, having a good time,
2. Lazarus: clothed in sores, signifies poverty, hungry, humility. Not having a good time.

The Two Destinies
1. Rich man dies and enters Hell. Not having a good time! Place of intense torture, heat, and desire.
2. Lazarus dies and enters heaven. Having a good time! Place of comfort, happiness and contentment. carried by angels
When it comes to death we are not ‘on our ownnnnnn’ – alone.

What Hell has that we should have.

I. Uplifted Eyes. verse 23
Rich man lifted up his eyes. Take heed to the wicked man’s example Look up. Just don’t wait till its too late!
Stop looking to world, drugs, liquor, beer, sex….

Psalm 121:1 – Look unto the hills…
When you look up, look to Jesus. He’s the One that died for you, saves you, saves your soul, No one else can.

II. On Fire. verse 24
Rich man is in torment. Friends there ought to be some sort of excitement, some sort of joy coming from the lives of God’s redeemed!!

III. Prayers. verse 24
The rich man cried out. 24
The rich man begged. verse 27
Too late to pray. Now is the time to pray. Here is the place. On earth the rich man wealthy and the beggar waspoor, but the beggar was wealthier. His inheritance was Heaven.

IV. Souls
People who by their own choosing go to Hell.
Where are you today? Rich man headed for Hell. Beggar headed for Heaven.
