A Lonely Morning

This has been a very lonely morning. It’s Sunday. I’m usually in church teaching and worshipping. However, trying to recover from a sickness and an incessant cough prompted my staying home.

I took advantage of the opportunity to complete a sermon series on the seven sayings of Jesus from the Cross and to listen to live worship services from First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida. While enjoying the worship experience with them, it just didn’t satisfy like being at my church, Cornerstone Baptist.

I can’t conceive of anyone who is able to attend worship services ever being content with internet churches. While they are fine in there place, there is no comparison to being in a church service with people who make you feel like you belong with them.

I am hopeful to have the opportunity to preach the Seven Sayings soon. Trusting God, being prepared, and knowing the study wasn’t wasted even if I don’t get to preach it.

Until next time
