Two songs and my brother

Every Christmas brings some wonderful memories to my mind. One is of my grandma with the big yellowish striped ceramic bowl standing at the end of the table mixing cuts of apple, oranges, tangerines, english walnuts, pecans, grapes, bananas and some raisins with ‘Dukes’ mayonnaise {Had to Be Dukes!} into that bowl. Every little bit she would slip me some samplings. She was good like that.

In addition to this, there’s the time my little brother stood up in front of a crowd of people and sang “Away In A Manger.” He was cute. It sounded pure. He stood there in his dark trousers, white shirt and I believe a red bow tie. Little, innocent looking, nervous, yet determined. That is one the the two songs and my brother.

The other song he sung and one he believes holds special meaning for the Christmas season is offered here. Give a listen to a recent redition. You can worship to this. Go ahead. It’s okay.

Take the time to listen, meditate, worship

Until next time,
