Our Sunday School class was studying John 1:12 which reads, ‘But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, (John 1:12 NASB)’
I’d like some insights from my readers and invitees. To get you started here was one position.
1. All mankind are the creation of God.
2. Not all mankind are children of God.
3. Mankind become God’s child individually when they believe on Jesus.
4. Children become God’s child if they die without accepting Jesus if they die become reaching the age [‘stage’ – my term] of accountability.
Accepting the above conditions as being biblically based, how do we explain the child who isn’t God’s child at birth yet becomes God’s child at death if the death takes place before accountability?
Possibly, the grace of God?
Welcome your insights.
Until next time,
