None of your Biz-Wax

The social media has taken it to an all new level. In spite of that, the social media, ie. Facebook, twitter, and google etc…, will never totally replace the local beauty shop, salons, and barber shops. The reason people go every week to these businesses is so they can discuss everyone else’s business.

I find it humorous to see posts on Facebook from people telling every one else to stay out of their business followed by that same person posting their business so everyone can see it! You would think if it is none of your biz-wax (slang for business) then it wouldn’t be shared publicly.

Have you ever been in the elevator at the hospital while people discuss the health issues of family members openly for all to hear then when it’s convenient invoke the ‘HIPPA law?”

There was a time when things were kept very private. Unwed pregnancies were concealed and the mother to be left town for a while. Now we hoist the banner of baby showers galore so we can help this young girl.

Problems males have with their reproduction organ is now broadcasted on television. Dysfunctional problems are no problem if you will take this pill or that pill. Matters like these were private. I for one think they still should be.

Feminine products advertised without discretion as are drugs for E. D.

Certain matters ought to be kept private. We have served our neighbors a grave injustice with public indiscretion. If its a private matter, keep it private.

Practice discretion. Honor a person’s right to privacy.

Until the next time,
