Scriptural breakdown of 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

A portion of scriptural supporting the message God has laid on my heart is 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

It reads:

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4 NASB)

Here is a breakdown for your consideration. It is rusty and can be improved upon. The Lord opened my eyes to some truths here. What do you think?

Verse 3
And even if our [gospel] – here is the good news!

is [veiled,] – here is the incident

it is veiled to those who are [perishing,] – here is the end result

Verse 4
in whose case the [god of this world] – here is the instigator

has blinded – here is the intent

the minds of the [unbelieving] – here is target

so that they [might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,] – here is the aim

who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4 NASB)

HERE IS A SIGNIFICANT NOTE!!!!

You see the word “might” in verse 4? That means it doesn’t have to be that way because the god of this world is limited while the God of Heaven is unlimited, all-powerful and Almighty!

Praise be unto God the Father!

Until next time,

Hoss
