News vs. Gossip

The futility of the news media has surfaced yet again. The very notion that gymnist Gabby Douglas’ hair would be news worthy. Just because some people want to make an issue of her hair doesn’t mean it needs to be fed throughout the various media outlets.

I’m proud of her accomplishments at the 2012 olumpic games. She made history. Focus on that. Not her hair.

And while I’m at it, what is it about people revealing their sexual preferences that makes it worth putting on the news? Some female on the USA Olympic soccer team reveals her desire to fondle, aka, love on, other females. Who really cares? Are they reporting this as good news or bad news? Just reporting.

Our local evening news comes on at 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 6 pm and 7pm. Most of it repititious.

Here’s some news. People don’t care what God thinks. I can prove it. Even churchgoers don’t care.

And you say?

Until next time
