Let’s Get it Right
You know things were going too smooth. The only real negative experience in New York was K. Evans, the sourpuss shuttle driver. She made us wait & wait & wait. Packed van full and drove rough. Terrible demeanor. But the up side was it only lasted for a short time.
Now for the cruise. We obtained reservations for dinner each night well before crisis date. The first night we arrived at the Platinum and was escorted to our table. A very friendly, and might I add, good smelling waitress brought us our water & bread. Then it happened. We were asked to relocate to a smaller table for two. We were okay with this since we had been placed with a group. No problem.
Next day we get a notice welcoming us to our special dinner out reserved in the Steakroom for 5:30 pm. Problem! We reserved it for 6:30 pm well ahead of cruise date. Christy made the call. They changed it. Good problem fixed. Christy, you go girl!
Arrived back to room and found a card telling us our evening dinners have been moved from the Platinum to the Golden Room at 5:45 pm. No real problem since it’s location is closer to the room.
Did I say no problem? Sorry – problem. We arrived at the Golden Room at 5:45 and they didn’t want us to be seated at that time. We didn’t have our card telling of the changes. Figured they made the changes so they’ll have the records right? We were told to go downstairs and enter the Restuarant from there. We ended up with open seating dining
Christy has made a second trip to Guest Services so that rumble you may feel or hear is not another earthquake, it’s Christy getting her groove on!
Stay tuned. Until next time,
