Jesus, Is that You?

He died today. In the midst of all the discussion about May 21, 2011 being Judgment Day, this man died the day before. I’m not interested in arguing the exact day Jesus will return. I am more incline to focus on the present. I hope the man who died today was prepared for his appointment.
There are statements made about the coming of Jesus which need simple explanation.

1. We hear people quote scripture and state, “not even Jesus knows when He’s coming back.” Let me strongly suggest that while Jesus was on earth completing His earthly ministry He was limited of His glory and thus can explain why He didn’t know when He would return. However, since returning to Heaven and being clothed in His full glory, it is very well possible for Jesus to now know when He will return.

2. Such and such must happen before Jesus returns. I believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. While certain things must take place, I believe they can happen very quickly and thus Jesus’ return can be like a thief in the night.

3. People say be ready on such and such a date. I say be ready in the moment. Don’t wait for a date. There is no better time than NOW. the very breath you just took is a gift from God. It is His to give and His to take.

Jesus is indeed coming. Are you ready?

Do you believe Jesus died for your sins?
Do you believe Jesus was buried and rose again on the third day as the Sacred Writings tell us?
Trust Jesus for the salvation of your soul. Don’t trust yourself. Don’t trust your feelings. Trust Jesus to do as He has promised when you DECIDE to place believing faith in Him.

God Bless
