The wife and I stopped by a local ice cream shop for a banana sliced in half with ice cream in between; [yeah, a banana split]. We noticed two couples standing there and the men had on their jewish caps. When we got closer I noticed fringes hanging from their waste.
This was the first time I had seen practicing Jews with their fringes. I was thinking they had their Jewish prayer shawl with them. Naturally I started up a conversation with them. I wanted to quiz them on the information I gathered when I did my study of the Jewish prayer shawl. I received a confirmation and additional education.
For instance, when we read of Jesus’ resurrection and the folded cloth that was found in the tomb, it was Jesus’ kittle. Pardon me but it thrills my soul to think Jesus got in no hurry as demonstrated by his taking the time to fold His kittle. Jesus was in control. Praise God He still is!
